In addition to this, a second serpentine line can be traced, originating from the head and then crossing the body until it reaches the other foot resting on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>In Myron&#8217;s Discobolus, the depiction of movement is another aspect that has contributed to making this statue exceptional: this is highlighted in the detail of the outstretched arm with the disc, ready to rotate to launch the disc and unleash all the accumulated force.
